Ну вот, наконец-то "Нью-Йорк Таймс" дошла до логического вывода из своей политики. Сегодняшняя статья в разделе "Мнения" : Конституция - вредный, устаревший и антинародный документ.

what did he say that provoked this reaction? the constitution IS old, and it interpretation is occasionally difficult - some try to grant constitutional rights to a 7-week fetus, others insist the fetus deserves those only at 22 weeks. and so forth. of course when those commies talk of amending it - they are funny, "kishka tonka" - but there is nothing wrong with discussing it, it is not the bible, and ... tehre is nothing wrong with discussing the bible, either. so i don't get it why you got so angry. ?

i am not defending this guy, i don't care for him much, i think molly had a run-in with him. so i was asking you.

i mean, constitution is an old document, still working, so we need it, but it is okay to state that it does not cover a lot of modern stuff...

It might be old, but it's what holding this country together. And, as someone else here has mentioned already, the complexity of amending procedure is intentional, because it protects the minority, and prevents us from making stupid decisions.

BTW progressives (read commies) are losing all over the primaries. one crazywoman won big in NYC but that's it.
