Как и все, я был потрясен - почему 3 дня не приходила помощь?

Lets see a show off hands of who has actually been in large natural
disasters. anyone? *raises his own hand* I went through the eye of
Hurricane andrew in the hardest hit area (and about 5 hurricanes since) and have first hand experience of the recovery process.
Lets review:
T-0d: Storm Hits
T+1d: Storm passes. Supplies start to get organized, counted and shipped to holding facilities at airports and storage warehouses for
distribution. Call goes out for Truckers to meet at supply centers and also head straight to disaster location, from across the nation.
T+2d: Large enough quantities of supplies stored up to start loading onto planes and trucks which depart for disaster area. You can't just make supplies materialize out of your ass.
T+3d: Airplanes with supplies arrive, cargo is offloaded and sorted into centralized distribution areas. Small number of semi local trucks appear and wait for cargo to be sorted. If they brought goods with them, this also must be unloaded, sorted and accounted for.
t+4d: Medium range incoming trucks arrive. Those with supplies must
unload to be counted and sorted. Small number of empty trucks start
getting loaded up with supplies and routes being created based on safe passage areas.
t+5d: A lot more trucks from across the nation begin to arrive. Supplies must be offloaded, sorted, and counted. Empty trucks are loaded and given routes.
t+6d: Repeat incoming supplies, sorting, counting, giving routes. Relief effort is now fully ramped up to speed and moving thier ways into cities. Massive coordination of unloading and reloading of supplies"
Ну и так далее. Давайте немножко подумаем, прежде чем тыкать пальцами в виновных.
